Show Support for Startup Project

Show your support for rescuing and repurposing the ‘Startup Gym’ at the Sultan School Board Meeting Monday February 2nd. The Sky Valley Arts Council board has been invited to discuss a proposal to repurpose the gym and we invite community members with interest to attend. In August 2014 Sky Valley Arts Council president Mary Ritzman and secretary Debbie Copple approached the board with interest in restoration of the Startup gym and the surrounding landscape as a community event center focused on supporting arts and culture activities for the valley. Built in the 1930s, the building has a stage, a generous open floor, dedicated kitchen area and is surrounded by expansive outdoor space in a beautiful setting …all in need of attention! Join the Sultan School Board Meeting Monday February 2nd at 7pm at the Sultan Elementary School Library- 501 Date Street, Sultan WA 98294 – follow the signs from the parking lot.
