Dear Members and Local Communities,

It has been an amazing year for the Sky Valley Arts Council. We are so grateful to our community of friends who have joined us in building a stronger arts and heritage story in the Skykomish Valley.

As 2016 draws to an end we want to share and thank you for the progress made possible with volunteer hours, contributions and grants.  Our most visible and key achievements this year have been the renovation activity at the Startup Event Center, replacement of the Firefighters Mural and publishing an Arts & Culture Guide to seeing the Skykomish Valley with a creative eye. Over 1400 hours have been contributed by volunteers and board members towards restoration work, fundraising and projects in 2016.  We received $12,000.00 in grant funding and an approximately equal value of in-kind contributions.  Members and donor contributions have been generous.
