The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) offers over $2 million in scholarships and incentives to students each year. Our local Sky Valley VFW posts sponsor these programs so take a look at the details on the forms to make entry into earning recognition and cash awards!

For students in 9th – 12th grades. VOICE OF DEMOCRACY written and audio essay competition

For students in 6th, 7th & 8th grades. PATRIOT’S PEN written essay competition

IMPORTANT … to qualify, an entry must be delivered to a sponsoring local VFW Post by midnight October 31, 2021. Local sponsors are SULTAN at 14030 Sultan Basin Road and GOLD BAR at 301 3rd. Applications can be delivered to any sponsoring VFW if you are outside the Sky Valley.
