Our next Sky Valley Arts Council [SVAC] general meeting, show and social is planned for Tuesday June 16 at the Startup Gym. This past month the SVAC board had a meeting with the Sultan Schools Superintendent and Attorney to work out the details of a lease agreement between the district and the SVAC. After our meeting we visited the property and went inside the building – see the photos below.  At the general meeting on June 16th the board will share an update and begin to set up teams interested in working on the project.  Whatever your interest please plan to attend the June general meeting to hear about the next steps, show support for the restoration project and inquire or sign up for one of the many volunteer teams who will be helping to ‘Save the Startup Gym’.

June 22 through June 28 is a full week of Sky Art Week activities.  Enroll now to participate any single day or the full week of activities.  Everyone is welcome but the enrollment is limited based on our facility size.  We look forward to locals and visitors of all ages for this fun and enriching event supports by volunteers, the Town of Skykomish and 4Culture.
